Lisa Kiss is an Astrologer, Teacher and Guide who helps her students discover their moon flow, connect with their inner wisdom and learn how to take aligned action unique to them, through the spiritual personal development tools — astrology and mindfulness.
As an intuitive astrologer and 200hr yoga and mindfulness meditation teacher, she provides 1:1 support, as well as leads classes to support community connection within this healing work.
A question I'm asked all the time is, "How did you get into astrology?"
For as long as I can remember, my beautiful grandma would read me my horoscope after reading hers. I was told I was a Gemini from a very young age and that it fits because I'm always changing my mind. This was my first view into Astrology and I loved it. I also love the spiritual connection I have with my grandma. My dreams are freaking insane and I've inherited that from her but my grandma will also call me and ask where the moon is and I just think it is just a reflection of our spiritual connection.
Fast forward to grade 8 at a scholastic book fair there was a book of birthdays; like each day of the year and what you are like being born on that day. This book is somewhere with my childhood books but I went around reading all my friends' birthday pages. Hint hint to the start of being an astrologer.
Moving onto being raised by a Sagittarius Mom who put crystals in her bra, I've always been around the woo-woo and it wasn't seen as woo. I've known about reiki and had my first session with my mom at age 10. I feel like it was fated for me to do something in the spiritual world.
Now, the last and final moment of my decision to become an astrologer was my Yoga Teacher Training in 2019. There was one module on the soul's purpose and we learned about our sun, moon, rising and our numerology life path numbers and cycles. Now if you've done a reading with me you know I weave in that numerology into your sun, moon and rising. My mind was freaking blown when I discovered I was more than just a Gemini. I don't resonate with everything about Geminis. I always felt like a very shy one. Discovering I was a Cancer Rising and a Pisces Moon was very validating and I had never felt so seen in my entire life.
With each reading that I do my goal is to have clients feel as seen as I was in that little astrology workshop in my YTT. To know that all these parts of you exist and that you are not just one thing and put yourself in a box.
One year after I completed my YTT and did a few astrology programs, I did my first natal chart reading on December 14th, 2020 on a Sagittarius New Moon Solar Eclipse and I haven't looked back.
The more I dive deeper into this work I feel like I have to put my teacher hat on more (Sagittarius) and so I'm excited to see how this journey unfolds.
