Happy August! Lisa Kiss here, Hamilton Astrologer! I hope you enjoyed last month’s horoscopes and learned something new about astrology! Now let’s get into some of the big events happening in August before reading your Horoscope!
AUGUST 2021 ASTROLOGICAL EVENTS
August 8th - New Moon in Leo:
Set goals around your creativity and have fun. Abundance is all around you! (8/8)
August 11th - Mercury Enters Virgo:
Organize your thoughts and start planning and getting practical as the end of Summer nears.
August 16th - Venus Enters Libra:
Looking to your partnerships and celebrating them. Communicating your needs in the relationships in your life.
August 19th - Uranus in Taurus Retrograde:
Get real and face the fears in your life. The way to happiness in your life is to make changes, even if they make you uncomfortable.
August 22nd - Full Moon in Aquarius:
Another opportunity to participate in your community. A time of joy to fully be yourself.
August 23rd - Sun enters Virgo:
The “back-to-school” is here. That’s what it can sometimes feel like. Virgo wants us to get organized, get healthy and make sure we have our priorities straight as we start to change seasons into the Fall.
August 30th - Mercury enters Libra:
The perfect time to heal wounds caused by any disagreements #harmonywitheveryone.
AUGUST 2021 HOROSCOPES
I write these monthly horoscopes based on Rising Sign (Ascendant or AC). If you do not know your Rising/Ascendant Sign please read for your Sun Sign instead. You can find your AC on your natal chart. I recommend using astro.com to get your chart.
ARIES RISING
Aries, this month fun and creativity will occupy your mind. What does your heart want to say? What are you truly passionate about? You can journal what comes to mind, but make sure to go forth and take creative action with your heart and have fun with your passions this month!
TAURUS RISING
Taurus, this month home and family will be your theme. Whether it be strengthening family relationships or wanting to move your home (or maybe just re-arrange or renovate) anything tied to your roots (physical and ancestral) will call your attention.
GEMINI RISING
Gemini, this month is all social networking, and that is your sweet spot! Whether you’re wanting to start a new writing project or pitch a new idea at work or even just get in more social time with your friends, you will be feeling chattier than usual.
CANCER RISING
Cancer, this month will be all about values, desires and goal setting. Money might also be top of mind. Do you need to make a budget or savings plan? Are you wanting to start a new business or create a new revenue stream? These are some questions that might come to mind right now as the Sun and Mercury move through your 2nd house. Whenever your intuition or gut feelings lead you, trust your strong instincts and go where it leads you.
LEO RISING
Leo, this month will be all about identity because it is your season after all! Woo-hoo and isn’t it a fun season too! We are in the heat of the Summer and it is your time to SHINE! Let yourself be seen and heard in a natural proud Leo fashion. Some questions around who you are and your purpose might come up. Doing a yearly reflection might help you see how far you’ve come and where you are headed.
VIRGO RISING
Virgo, this month is centred around spirituality and higher purpose. Making sure you’re not just focusing on those details but also some spiritual wellness, if you will. Health and well-being are very important to you conscious Virgo’s but don’t forget about your mental well-being and spiritual well-being (the unseen) too! Do something woo-woo this month, just to try it! You might find it helps you overall and it might just be the detail you’ve been missing!
LIBRA RISING
Libra, this month we have a community and friendship focus. Have you made sure to see all your friends this summer so far? Are you attending community events that are of interest to you? Are you getting involved in causes that matter to you? Asking yourself these questions and maybe journaling your responses can help you evaluate what community means to you and how you are contributing.
SCORPIO RISING
Scorpio, this month you will focus on your career and a higher calling. How’s work going? Is your job or business fulfilling your soul’s deep, deep desires? Nothing is superficial with you, so make sure your work can make room for your depth and perception.
SAGITTARIUS RISING
Sagittarius, this month will be all about education, exploration and self-discovery. How fun for you! You get to learn! This is totally your thing! Remember that learning does not have to be traditional, and maybe this Summer learning from experiences is more your thing! Just make sure you are learning! Books, courses, mini-trips, travel, etc will be your friend this month!
CAPRICORN RISING
Capricorn, this month is all about business, finance and shadow work. You are naturally all about the work, the structures and making money but what about going deeper? Maybe into the subconscious or doing some physiology work? The psychology of business? Maybe even your own subconscious and adding something into your daily routines to help support this.
AQUARIUS RISING
Aquarius, this month is about relationships and partnerships. Whenever a sign has the theme of a relationship I always think of it as a check-in month. Review all of your relationships, personal, work, business, romantic etc! All of them. Build, strengthen, review, remove. Whatever needs to be done, needs to be done, and you know it.
PISCES RISING
Pisces, this month your area of focus is health, work and daily routines. Making sure that this month you ground yourselves in the reality of your daily routine and current health situation. Make sure you are taking care of yourself first before you go helping all your loved ones. The “fill your cup first” saying applies to you this month!
