Human Design Authorities

Emotional authority in Human Design indicates that individuals make their best decisions based on their emotional clarity, which often requires time.

Solar Plexus (emotional) Authority

People with emotional authority should not make decisions in the heat of the moment. Instead, they should ride the emotional wave, gaining clarity over time. This process ensures their decisions are aligned with their true feelings and desires.

Sacral Authority

Individuals with sacral authority respond best to gut instincts and immediate responses. Their sacral center provides a clear yes or no answer, guiding them towards decisions that are energetically correct for them.

Splenic Authority

Those with splenic authority rely on spontaneous, intuitive insights. The spleen offers immediate, instinctive awareness, which often comes as a quiet, fleeting sense of knowing.

Environmental Authority (Projectors)

For some Projectors, making decisions involves paying attention to their environment and how it influences their feelings and thoughts. This authority requires them to be in the right surroundings and take time to see how they feel about decisions in different contexts.

Self-Projected Authority

Individuals with this authority need to talk out their decisions, either to themselves or trusted friends. Through verbalizing their thoughts, they gain clarity and align with their true self.

Lunar Authority (Reflectors)

Reflectors must wait a full lunar cycle before making significant decisions. This time allows them to experience their decision through various phases and perspectives, ensuring a well-rounded and clear choice.

Ego Authority

Those with ego authority (also known as willpower authority) make decisions based on their desires and what they truly want. It involves listening to their heart and honoring their personal will and commitments.
